Description
Boardmans Bank Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1742, with 20th-century alterations. It is constructed from coursed stone with enlarged quoins and features a red tile roof with pitched verge parapets. The building has brick end stacks, a raised string at the first-floor level, and a plinth course. The front is two storeys high with three windows, which include 20th-century three-light casements and single-light windows to the right of center, all set in chamfered openings that were likely originally stone mullioned. There is a central entrance with a boarded door topped by a Tudor-arch lintel inscribed with "H Attached dwelling to F.A.1742," although the right side is not included in the listing.
