Description
Stables built in the early 19th century. They are constructed from red brick and feature a tiled roof with a dentil eaves band and an end stack on the left side. The building has a long, low single-storey front with five segmental-headed openings, which are boarded up. There is a lean-to on the left-hand gable. This structure is part of a group that includes a lock, Stanley Road bridge, and the Lock-keeper's cottage.
