Description

The Alcock memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 10 metres west of the tower of the Church of St Werburgh in Kingsley. It commemorates Samuel Alcock, who died in 1848. The tomb features a deep twin-stepped podium and a deep-moulded plinth, with pilasters at the corners. The sides are incised, and it has a moulded ridged top slab.
