Description
The Grange is a farmhouse with a core dating back to the 17th century, which was refaced in the 18th century and altered in 1873. It is constructed of red brick and features tiled roofs, with an end stack on the right. The building has an L-shaped plan and a two-storey front that includes two windows, which are three-light casements with gauged brick segmental heads. To the left, there is a widely projecting wing that rests on a 17th-century chamfered stone plinth. The right side is set back and has a band at the first-floor level, with a catslide pent roof against the return angle. The entrance features an eaves set over a wedged head inscribed "CH/1873," along with an overlight and a 20th-century panelled door. Inside, the rooms on the roadside have chamfered beams.
