Stables And Coach House Approximately 100 Metres North Of Heath House

The stables and coach house, located approximately 100 meters north of Heath House, are a stable and coach house structure with remnants from the 18th century and an early 19th-century reconstruction. The building is constructed of red brick and features a hipped, tiled roof with a dentilled eaves course and ridge stacks on each range. It has a U-shaped plan that opens to the south.

Inside the courtyard, there are cast iron small-pane casements with segmental heads, which have been partially replaced on the six-window east range but remain complete on the four-window west range. The building includes segmental-headed carriage doors, with two on the east and west sides (the west side is now blocked) and three on the north range, which are widely spaced to the left. The right side has a gablet, clock, and cupola above it. Additionally, there is a taller carriage driveway on the extreme right, also with a segmental head positioned almost at eaves height. The west face of the building retains 18th-century brickwork. Notably, the north face aligns perfectly with the course of the Roman Road, which is visible in crop marks as of the last resurvey in August 1985. This building is part of a complete country house complex.
