Description

Hargreaves Lodge is a former lodge for the Trentham Estate, dated 1896. The building features a sham timber frame with painted plaster and is one storey plus an attic. It has an L-shaped plan with a projecting gabled bay on the left side and an over-sailing gabled dormer on the right. The lodge includes plain casement windows and a plain doorway, which has a shaped panel displaying the date and a ledged door. Ornamental finials adorn the gables, and there are sprocket eaves, with the roof covered in tiles.
