Description
The former threshing barn, located approximately 250 yards east of Wrottesley Hall, is a converted barn dated "Sr / J. W. / 1785". It is constructed of red brick and features a clay tile roof with coped gables. The barn has eight bays and is rectangular in shape, with part of it adapted for animal housing. Notable architectural features include panels of perforated brick for air ventilation, two segmental threshing floor entries with keystones and hinge blocks, a dentilled eaves cornice, one window to the right of the center, and a stable door to the left. There is a lower gabled extension dating from around 1800 at the rear right, which serves as an animal feed shed.
Inside, the barn has a double purlin pegged king post roof and remnants of machinery are still present.
