Description

The ornamental fountain and basin located in the center of the southwest terrace at Patshull Hall is a notable feature. This cast iron fountain consists of a central urn topped with a shallow bowl, which is adorned with busts around its sides. Surrounding the urn are four youths holding tortoises, four dolphins, and four large shells. The fountain is set within a circular pool made of rendered brick, which has an ashlar coping.
