Description
Hack Cottage is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick with a sandstone plinth and features a hipped clay tile roof with a tall brick chimney on the left side. The building has two storeys and an attic, with four windows that are casements, each having gauged heads and sills. There is a ground floor window to the right of the centre that is a 20th-century addition. To the right and left of the centre, there are double-leaved doors with stone surrounds; the door on the right is glazed and may also be a 20th-century insertion. Additionally, there are two flat-roofed dormers and a low 20th-century extension to the right.
