Description

The Nathaniel Barrett Memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 10 yards southeast of the chancel of the Church of St. Nicholas. It commemorates Nathaniel Barrett, who died in 1795. The tomb is constructed of ashlar and has an oblong plan. Each long side features two panels with moulded surrounds. The corners are adorned with fluted pilasters that have gadrooning at the base. The tomb also includes a moulded base and cornice.
