Description

The John Karver Memorial, located approximately 10 yards south of the south aisle of the Church of St. Nicholas, is an altar tomb dating from around 1800. It is constructed of ashlar and features a square plan with side panels that have quadrant corners. The memorial includes corner pilasters, a stepped base, and a moulded cornice, which is topped by an urn. It commemorates John Karver, who died in 1790, and also honors Beatrice Wood, who died in 1814.
