Description
The Harding Memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 20 meters southeast of the Church of St Peter. It dates from the mid-19th century and is constructed of sandstone ashlar. The tomb has a rectangular shape with a moulded plinth and capping, and features panelled corner pilasters. On the south side, there is a moulded inscription panel dedicated to George Harding, who died in 1858, and on the north side, another panel for his wife, Margaret Honor, who died in 1865. The tomb is situated on a sandstone-faced terrace, which likely contains the family vault beneath it.
