Description

This is a milepost located at the National Grid Reference SJ 8062 4542, likely dating from the late 19th century. It is made of cast iron and features a black painted base with white lettering. The milepost has a triangular shape with a chamfered top that slopes to the front, and a semi-circular back-plate.
