This is a shop premises, likely purpose-built around 1840. It is constructed of painted brick with stone dressings, and has a plain tiled roof. The building is three storeys high and a single bay wide. A modern shop front has been inserted at ground floor level. Above this is a three-light oriel window, with a matching three-light mullioned window beneath a stepped hood mould featuring a pierced quatrefoil. The facade is gabled, with decorative bargeboards and spiked finials. A gable end stack is present. The building is included on the list for its group value.
