Milepost. Probably mid-to-late C19. Cast iron with black painted base and raised lettering. Triangular in section with chamfered top, sloping to front. Lettered: "HANCHURCH" on top; "WHITMORE 2¼/MARKET DRAYTON 12" on left "TRENTHAM 2/LONGTON 5¾/STONE 7/STAFFORD 14" on right.
