Description
No. 16 Bore Street is a house, now used as an office, built around 1810. It features a stucco exterior with ashlar dressings and has a tile roof with a rebuilt brick end stack. The building is designed in the Georgian style and is arranged in an L-plan. It stands three storeys high with a symmetrical three-window range. There is a top cornice with a blocking course. The entrance has a doorcase with an architrave, a pulvinated frieze, and a pediment, leading to a six-panel door; there is also a small entrance with a plank door at the right end. The windows have sills and include 16-pane sashes, with 8-pane sashes on the second floor. The entrance was altered in 1990.
