Description

This is a row of five houses, numbers 59 to 67 (odd), built around 1830 in Lichfield. The houses are constructed of brick with a tile roof and six brick chimney stacks. They are built in a Georgian style, featuring two storeys and a six-window front. A moulded brick cornice runs along the top of the building. Each house has an entrance to the left of the windows, with doorcases exhibiting panelled pilaster strips, a frieze, and a cornice, sheltering a six-panelled door. However, number 61 has a half-glazed door, and a round-headed entry to the right of number 63 is accessed via a plank door. The windows have sills and rubbed brick flat arches above 16-pane sashes on the ground floor, and 4/8-pane sashes on the first floor. There are four chimney stacks arranged to cross the building and two at each end. Brick walls flank the path leading to the entrances; brick steps and front garden walls are also present.
