Description

This former farmhouse, dating from the early 18th century, is located approximately 10 yards east of Hanch Hall Farmhouse in King's Bromley. It is built of roughcast red brick with plaster quoins and features a plain tile roof with raised verges, a roughcast ridge stack, and an integral end stack. The building has a three-cell plan that is aligned north-west to south-east and faces south-west. It is one storey high with an attic, featuring three windows that are casements with segmental heads, along with one gabled dormer. To the left of the centre, there is a six-panelled door framed by an early 19th-century wooden architrave with a segmental head.

Inside, all three ground floor rooms have chamfered and stopped cross beams and a fireplace. The fireplace in the central room has a cambered bressumer that is also chamfered with ogee stops. There are staircases leading from both the left-hand (north-east) room and the central room to the attic, which extends up the side of the chimney stack. The attic contains three additional rooms.
