Description

Seedy Mill is an early 19th-century corn mill and office situated within a group of buildings including a farmhouse and cartshed. The mill is constructed of red brick with tiled roofs, featuring canted eaves courses. The two-story, attic-roofed mill is located to the right, with a three-light segmental-headed window on its right side and a segmental-headed doorway raised above ground level to the left. A window is also present in the part-basement to the centre. The mill originally housed an undershot water wheel, which is now missing, and occupied a lower addition on the right side. Significant grinding machinery and shuttering remains on the ground and basement floors. The attached office is lower in height, with two windows and a segmental-headed ground floor. A mid-19th century gabled addition extends from the left end.
