Description
Lysways Hall is an 18th-century house that was remodeled in the mid-19th century. It features plastered walls that are lined to resemble ashlar and has a hipped slate roof with plastered stacks.
The west front of the building has two storeys and is characterized by rusticated quoins of unequal length, a first-floor band, and a panelled parapet. It has a 3:5 window arrangement with glazing bar sashes that include moulded sills and architraves, along with panels beneath the first-floor windows. There is a left-hand projection with a single-storey flat-roofed frontal extension, and a roughly central single-storey bowed porch that has a glazed door and a panelled parapet.
On the south front, there is a 3:1 window arrangement. The right-hand porch projection features a semi-circular arched window above a recessed door. This front originally extended to the right (east) and was connected to Lysways House, which served as the service wing.
