House. C18, remodelled mid-C19. Plastered walls lined as ashlar; hipped slate roof; plastered stacks.

West front. Two storeys with rusticated quoins of unequal length, first floor band and panelled parapet. 3:5 window front: glazing bar sashes with moulded sills and architraves, and panels beneath the first floor windows. Left hand projection with single-storey flat roofed frontal extension. Roughly central single-storey bowed porch with glazed door and panelled parapet.

South front. 3:1 window front. Right hand porch projection with semi-circular arched window above the recessed door. This front formerly extended to the right (east) and was attached to Lysways House (q.v.) which acted as the service wing.
