It is constructed of red brick and features a tiled roof with an end stack on the right side. The building is two stories high and has a two-window front. Notable architectural details include 19th-century dentilled eaves and a toothed band at the first-floor level, which has an inscription above in raised bricks that reads "IE 1707" and is nine courses high. The windows are small 20th-century casements, and there is a central entrance with a 20th-century panelled door. A lean-to structure is located on the right side of the cottage.
