Description

Linden Lea and Wesley Cottage are a pair of houses, originally a single house, built in the late 18th century and altered in the mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of red brick with a tiled roof and end chimney stacks. They have an L-shaped plan, with a later addition to the rear.

The front of the house is two storeys high with two windows. A raised band is visible on the first floor, and the eaves have a mid-19th century dentilled detail. The ground floor windows are three-light casements with small panes, set within deep brick surrounds. There are paired entrances, both approached by steps; the left-hand door has a brick head matching the windows. The doors are boarded. Lower additions have been made to both sides of one bay, featuring two-light casements.

The property is part of a group, which includes Barn Farm and Ivy Cottage.
