Description

Barn Farmhouse, now a house, dates from the late 18th century with alterations in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of red brick, painted to the front, with a tiled roof that is hipped on the right-hand side. It has an end stack to the left and a ridge stack to the left of the centre. The two-storey front features a raised band at first floor level and a 19th-century raised dentil eaves course. There are three windows set well in from the left end, with segmental-head casements; these windows have two lights to the first floor and a three-light small-pane arrangement to the ground floor. The entrance is to the left of the centre window and has a moulded surround, frieze, and hood, leading to a six-panel door.
