Description

Birchwood Park is an early 19th-century farmhouse constructed of red brick, originally a hunting lodge for the Earls of Shrewsbury. The house is three storeys high, with a hipped slate roof and brick stacks rising from the ridge. It has three windows, each with a segmental-headed casement. A door is located to the left of the centre. A low, single-storey projecting extension with a hipped roof and a central integral end stack extends to the left. A low lean-to extension with a hipped roof is situated to the right.
