Description

Corner Farmhouse is a farmhouse, along with steps and retaining walls, built in the mid to late 18th century. It features ashlar stonework and a clay tile roof with coped verges. The building has brick integral end stacks and a brick ridge stack located to the east of the center. The farmhouse has an L-shaped plan, with the main range oriented east-west and a rear wing oriented north-south. It stands two stories high with a gable-lit attic and has three windows, which are glazing bar sashes with horns, raised and moulded architraves, and raised keystones. The central first-floor window is a Venetian style, flanked by Tuscan pilasters and full entablatures. The central entrance is a six-panelled door topped by a bracketed hood, and there is a moulded eaves cornice.

On the east elevation, the gable of the main house is to the left, featuring an attic glazing bar window in a raised surround. The lower three-storey rear wing to the right has first and second-floor glazing bar sashes with raised and moulded surrounds and raised keystones, while the ground floor has boarded openings. There is a boarded door to the left at the junction with the main house. The retaining walls slope down from the house, enclosing two small front gardens that flank the central flight of steps leading to the front door.
