Description
This house, occupied by Mr. Bagshaw, dates from the 17th century and has undergone later alterations. It is timber framed with brick repairs and features a plain tile roof with a central brick stack. The building has a two-cell lobby-entry plan and stands two storeys high with a gable-lit attic. The windows are irregularly arranged, with casements and ground-floor windows located to the right, left, and right of centre. The central door is flanked by wooden pilasters and has a cornice hood above it. The framing consists of a combination of closely spaced studs and small rectangular panels, while the roof is supported by one pair of purlins and a ridge piece.
