Description

The police station at 32 Balance Street was built in 1756 and is an early 19th-century structure. It features plain red brick with a stucco plinth, a band, and a moulded eaves cornice, along with a small parapet. The building has three sash windows, with the central window breaking forward twice, as does the cornice above. It is two storeys high and has a plain stucco doorcase that includes engaged columns, a frieze, and a cornice, topped with tiles.
