Description

The Black Swan Public House, dating from 1756, is a 18th-century building located on Market Street. It features a painted brick front with 19th-century ground floor windows, which are set into an earlier timber frame that is partially visible in the side elevation beneath the coach arch and likely dates from the 16th century. The building has two storeys and includes two windows, with an additional window located above the archway. It is topped with a brick eaves cornice and has a tiled roof.
