Description

The Vicarage is a building of probable mid-16th century origins, with a core dating to around 1756. It is constructed of red brick and is two storeys high with an attic. The front features five sash windows with flat brick arches; the central ground-floor window forms the front door, which has six panels and a two-paned fanlight above. A moulded wooden eaves cornice runs along the top of the building, above a hipped tile roof. The interior includes a late 17th century staircase and a "priest’s hole" located within the base of a brick chimney.
