Description
Nos 21, 23, 25, and 25A on Church Street are buildings dating from 1756, with elements from the late 17th century or early 18th century. They are two storeys high and feature cement rendering. The front of the buildings has six three-light wood mullioned casement windows. Number 25 has a 19th-century moulded wood doorcase with half-columns, an open pediment, and a fanlight, while the other doors are simpler, each with small hoods. There is a brick eaves cornice, and the original slate roof has been replaced with tiles. These buildings are part of a group that includes other listed structures along the northwest side of Church Street, contributing to their collective historical significance.
