Description

The Vaults Public House is a mid-18th century building located in the Market Place. It is constructed of red brick and stands three storeys high. The façade features two 2-light casement windows, each with moulded stone keyblocks and flat brick arches. The corners of the building are accentuated with quoins, and it has moulded plaster eaves along with stone-capped gable ends. The roof is tiled. Additionally, there is a mid-19th century pentice with a moulded wood inn front that has a slate roof. The Vaults Public House is part of a group with Nos 12 to 18 (even).
