Description

The Old Talbot Inn is a 2-storey building, originally dating to 1756, with a single gable and a 2-window wing. It was extended in the 19th century with a ground floor projection, featuring a plain door within a narrow, moulded frame, and covered by a pentice roof. The front elevation is of painted brick and painted half-timbering, however the side elevation reveals the original timber framing. A distinctive feature is a kind of combined column and corbel with carved ornament. The roof is covered with old tiles.
