Description
Jervis House is an early to mid 18th century house located on Church Street. It is constructed of red brick and features a stone plinth that rises to the sills of the ground floor windows, along with a moulded stone eaves cornice. The building has rusticated quoins and three window bays on both the first and second floors. The top storey includes three semi-circular windows, each with three lights and modern window fittings. All windows have stone frames and bands at the sills. The central window features a dog-eared frame, a pulvinated frieze, and a moulded cornice. The entrance is marked by a plain Tuscan doorcase made of stone, which includes a frieze and a modillion cornice, a traceried fanlight, and a six-panel door.
