Description
Postern House is a farmhouse dating from the early 19th century, with some alterations made in the early 20th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a tiled roof with verge parapets and end stacks. The building has a double depth plan consisting of two parallel ranges. It is two stories high and has a three-window front. The windows are three-light casements with small-pane top lights, all set under flat gauged brick arches, flanking a two-light center window above a small single-storey gabled porch. The entrance features a part-glazed six-panel door, which is flanked by crude pilasters that support a dropped relieving arch.
