Description

The frontage wall and gates to the Old Rectory in Tatenhill date from the early 18th century, with the gate added in the late 19th century. The wall is made of red brick, measuring approximately 30 meters long and 1.2 meters high, featuring triangular coping. It is supported by ashlar piers that stand around 1.7 meters tall, topped with pyramidal cappings. The timber-railed gate includes dog rails and has elliptical cross-framing.
