Description
This is a small Gothic lodge built around 1860, located approximately 850 yards south-southeast of Chetwynd Park. The lodge features a design that includes sham timber framing with roughcast infill set on an ashlar plinth. It has a steeply pitched roof covered in fishscale tiles, with gabled ends adorned with ornate pierced bargeboards, pendants, and finials. The building is one storey high and has a right-hand square bay window that slightly projects. On the left side, there is a gabled porch with side screens made of twisted balusters. The gable end includes a canted bay, and the windows are casements with lozenge-shaped panes. A large central chimney stack made of ashlar is a prominent feature of the lodge.
