Description

Nos 1 and 2 Bath Road are probably late 18th century, with later alterations. They originally comprised a single house, now divided into two dwellings. The building is constructed of red brick. It is two storeys high, with three sash windows, each with a flat brick arch above. Two mid-19th century wooden doorcases are present, one at the centre featuring an open pediment and a bricked-up fanlight, and a six-panelled door. A stone sill band runs along the front elevation, and a raised parapet is visible, featuring a moulded brick cornice and a stone blocking course. Elsewhere, there are modillion brick eaves. The roof is tiled and hipped.
