Description
Nos 3 and 4 on The Wharfage are early to mid-19th century buildings made of painted brick. They stand three storeys high and consist of two connected blocks. The right-hand block features a slightly projecting bay at the center, topped with a pedimental gable that encloses a blocked circular window. This block has three sash windows, each with keyblocks and channelled lintels, along with modillion eaves and a tiled roof. The left-hand block has three sash windows with plain lintels, and the glazing bars are present only on the second storey windows. Both blocks have late 19th-century shop fronts.
