Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century building on Tontine Hill, Ironbridge. It is constructed of engraved stucco and has three storeys. The front has a single window fitted with a modern casement, plain eaves, and an old tile roof. The shopfront is from the early 19th century and features wooden pilasters. The doorway has a rectangular fanlight with vertical glazing bars, a modern door, and is all contained beneath a cornice. The building is included in the listing for group value, reflecting its contribution to the surrounding historic area.
