Description

These are two 18th-century brick buildings forming part of The Wharfage in Ironbridge. They are two storeys high. Number 6 has a gable end facing the road and features a single sash window with a curved head. Number 7 has two sash windows with simple lintels, along with a blocked window at the centre, marked by keyblocks. Each building has a simple wooden doorcase and shop front. Number 7’s entrance includes a plain rectangular fanlight over a six-panelled door. The buildings have modillion cornices and plain eaves, and are topped with an old tile roof.
