Description

Wards Tyning is a hall house dating from around the 16th century. It features a timber frame with painted brick infill panels and has a steeply pitched plain tile roof with gabled ends. The building was floored in the 17th century and now stands at two storeys. It has a long range of five to six windows, with modern casements and a modern door located off centre. The north elevation includes five gables and an outshut. A central timber framed chimney stack with a brick top stage is also present.
