Description
Bush Cottage is a probably 16th-century cruck-framed cottage that has been significantly altered in the 20th century. It features brick infill and has had its eaves heightened. The roof is covered with asbestos slate and has gabled ends. The building is one storey with an attic and includes three modern gabled dormers. On the ground floor, there are two modern casement windows and a modern bow window in the center. At the rear, there is a modern brick wing. Inside, two cruck trusses are present but are only visible on the ground floor; they may be truncated at floor level or hidden within partition walls.
