Description
Long Lane Farmhouse is an early 19th-century red brick farmhouse. It features a low pitched slate roof with gabled ends and a brick dentil eaves course. The building is three storeys high and consists of three bays. The original openings have modern casements with cambered arches. There is a plain central doorway with a flush panelled door, where the top panels are glazed. Brick stacks are located at each end of the building. Flanking the farmhouse are two-storey, one-bay gabled wings on the left and right. These wings have arched recesses and a stone string course at the impost level. The right-hand wing contains sash windows, while the left-hand wing features a first-floor lunette for the loft.
