Description

This is a late 18th-century brick-built farmhouse, extended and altered in the 1830s and 1840s. It is accompanied by a single-storey outbuilding to the rear. The farmhouse is two storeys high with a full attic storey creating two gables to the front. It features brick plat bands and a tiled roof. Tall, coupled shaft cornices and brick chimney stacks are prominent. The windows are revealed glazing-bar sashes with flat stucco arches, and the ground floor extension has tripartite windows. A slender pilastered doorcase with panelled reveals frames a panelled door with a shallow rectangular fanlight. Behind the farmhouse is an outbuilding range with brick construction and dentil eaves, which adjoins the east side of the farmyard.
