Description

This small windmill, dating from the early 19th century, is located about 400 yards south-south-west of Howle Manor House. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features a slender circular tower with slightly battered walls. The ground floor has a plain doorway, and there are small square window openings on each of the three storeys. Although the rails, cap, and machinery are missing, the millstones are still present, along with a stone cantilevered stair leading to the first floor.
