Description

The sundial immediately west of Madeley Court is a 17th-century astronomical sundial. It is supported by squat moulded columns and sits on a large stone cuboid block that measures about 4 feet square. The block has a domed top and hemispherical recessed sides, featuring various small triangular, rectangular, and other shaped recesses for dials.
