Description

Three bottle ovens located at the premises occupied by Acme Marls Limited in Burslem, Stoke on Trent, were originally built around 1900, although the current structures date from 1937 to 1947. These ovens are made of brick and are designed as freestanding circular hovels for downdraught ovens, with the hovels tapering evenly to moulded caps.
