Description

The cross base and sundial, located approximately 21 metres north of the chancel of the Church of St. Mary, is a churchyard feature dating from the medieval period and the 18th century. It is constructed from ashlar and consists of an octagonal step, a moulded circular base, and an 18th-century tapered circular shaft, which shows evidence of having once supported a sundial.
