Description
This barn, located approximately 15 meters southeast of The Nook Farmhouse, dates from the early 18th century and has seen later additions and alterations. It features a timber frame with red brick infill set on a sandstone block plinth, and is weatherboarded on the right side and rear, while the gable ends are made of red brick. The roof is covered with corrugated iron and the barn has two levels. The framing includes vertical posts, some with horizontal timbers that create rectangular panels, and long straight tension braces. There are wide double doors positioned to the right of center, with an inserted vehicle entrance to the left. This barn is included in the listing for its group value.
