25 Church Street is a substantial town house dating from around 1800. It is built of red brick and has three storeys with three bays, the central bay being slightly advanced. The house features three sash windows with plain lintels and a moulded wood pilaster doorcase that has panelled reveals and a radial fanlight. On the ground storey, there are two three-light windows. The brick eaves extend around the central pediment, and the ends of the building are stone gabled with kneelers.
